Most major medical insurance plans including Medicare generally do not cover Male Erectile Dysfunction and Female Sexual Dysfunction as they are considered elective procedures. We do not file insurance claims but do provide each patient with a treatment Super Bill which includes the medical treatment codes required for filing your claims and we do encourage patients to file them. There are some insurance companies that do cover these types of Therapies and it is covered under patients’ “Mental Health Well Being”.

Most major medical insurance plans do cover some types of hormone replacement therapy for the treatment of both women and men, but you do have to demonstrate a need. Likewise Some insurance companies may cover weight loss therapy. Please check with your your health insurance provider to understand your coverage options and potential out-of-pocket costs.
